Family Beach Celebration | Lido Beach Resort, Sarasota
If we've learned anything from the last year, it's that sometimes life doesn't go as planned. This beautiful family held an intimate beach celebration in honor of their father's retirement. With the siblings coming in town from various states, they wanted to have a family portrait session of the whole bunch on the beach.
Enter Florida weather. A storm looked imminent, but I was hopeful it would pass. Unfortunately pretty severe weather hit Lido Beach just when we should have been setting up for sunset photos. Lido Beach Resort graciously let us use an unreserved space so we could make these portraits happen. While they aren't the beach sunset photos they had in mind, they document a precious time and I'm sure it will be a good story for years to come. "Remember the time..."
